So what do you do after Bock’s Steam Star cleans your carpet and you have a spill or a mess? We realize you can’t call us every time your dog or cat has an accident. I mean who could afford that? We have heard of many concoctions from homeowners but rarely do they work and may actually damage the textiles. Here are two products that I know are effective and don’t have a lot of the filler agents in them. These are two products every home with pets should have.
First, is our Home Pro Spotter which is a neutral spot cleaner. It is the most used, go-to product to have around. This can be purchased at our office and our crews have it with them as well. It is available in 16 ounce and gallon size. It has the carpet and rug institute’s seal of approval which is the trade organization for carpet mills.
This product is tested to make sure it is effective and safe. If you looked for that seal of approval at the store when searching for a spot cleaning product, there would be many you would not buy. Most store bought products are too high in alkaline and contain brighteners which are bad for stain resistant carpets. Using these can void your carpet warranty.
For tougher spots, Pet Spotter Pus is ready for the toughest pet challenges. This product has some bleaching agents in it. No matter which end of your pet the problem comes from, the synergistic effect of unique stain and odor fighting ingredients works like nothing currently available in consumer products. It has an activated hydrogen peroxide, which is an oxidizer. It also has an encapsulating deodorizer in it so it is marketed more to help with pet issues. It is also effective for many other organic stains that you come across in your house. (coffee, wine, dirt, grass or other food stains) Pet Spotter Plus is only available in 16 ounce size.
